Hello! Looking for ideas on how small business owners can promote their shops. Something beyond the "wine & snacks' night ... Have you done anything that's fun and creative, and brought you new customers?

I recommend Open Network. It is a weekly networking group that meets without membership. It is just $12 per meeting and you go when you can. I have built some wonderful busines relationships and have gotten many new clients from attending. I am going to the Bradenton division this coming Tuesday. Let me know if you want to go.
I have also done chir massage with another business at a small event of theirs to benefit us both and that worked well. If you want to partner up and do that together that would be fun too.

Hi! Totally, would love to do some sort of cross-promotion. We host events with various businesses, about once a month. Next ones coming up is a 'What not to Wear' type event at a restaurant in St. Petersburg.

Do you have link for open network? Do you know if they have meetings in south Pinellas? I have another full-time job, besides LocalShops1.com, and getting to Bradenton might be tough.
