About Me: Originally from Middlesbrough - a Victorian industrial town surrounded by steel and chemical factories. People from here are 'fondly' referred to as 'Smog Monsters'. Relocated to Sarasota in 1999 - now THAT was a culture-shock!

20 years as graphic/web designer. Now Art Director for a Technology Company in Sarasota servicing the Natural Health industry. I'm also 'Foster Bloke' for www.gimmeshelterpets.com. At the moment I have 8 dogs, 3 cats and a few thousand fleas!

Interests and Hobbies: Animal Rescue, web design, reading, listening to music, drinking craft beers, hunting out first edition books in thrift stores.

Favorite Movies, TV?: Any Alfred Hitchcock, Busby Berkley musicals, B/W Classics, Willy Wonka, Wizard of Oz, The Third Man, Hobsons Choice, Midnight Cowboy, The Singing Detective (USA movie and UK TV series - both outstanding), Family Guy, The Simpsons, True Blood, Star Trek OS

Favorite Books?: Anything by Aldous Huxley, Eveylyn Waugh, HG Wells, Angela Carter, Alan Bennett

Favorite place to eat?: Chutney's. Smoking Joes - beer is part of the food pyrimid isn't it?

Favorite place to go?: Anywhere that has a water view. "Its like being on 'oliday innit!"

What are your favorite name brands of clothing?: The only label I care about is the one that says "On Sale"

Purses and Accessories?: No 'Murse' for me. A classically styled watch and a pair of cuff-links.

The makeover winner will get a free night stay courtesy of the Best Western Midtown for the evening before the reveal. This way the completed transformation will be a surprise! This is a pet friendly newly remodeled hotel (course not sure if they would let you bring all 18 dogs with you). Keep getting your friends to vote, we still have 13 days left of voting! Lisa
