Hi again Nancy -- Here's an update for you, my friend. Enjoy my gift to you. I've been painting images of my visions since age three. Let us become friends while networking through this site.
Hi Nancy. Your entry in the art contest is very interesting -- more interesting than some of the other art contest entries. 'Just wondering about your unsolicited and honest votes for #12 and your not voting for your own entry. That is truly honest and admirable, an obvious measure of your integrity.
Regarding your comment to Wes on August 31 about my solicitation of votes within the WQ online magazine's membership, I was within the art contest and web site rules to do what I did. As a matter of fact, the web site encourages members to send new members welcoming comments.
In researching the database of the contest, and in backtracking my approach to other members, I am unable to see which member or members, who had already voted in the contest, I contacted and asked to change preferences for my benefit. If this did indeed take place, then it was done unintentionally, not in "bad spirit." It was my intention to network within WQmag, through its member base, to introduce myself and get other members involved in the art contest. I asked those members I had already had contact with to vote for #6 if they believed it was worthy, and I invited new members and featured members to do the same. That's all I did; that's all I asked. If I asked any member who had already voted to vote for me, it was either a mistake on my part for not more closely reading their profile, or it was an inadvertent error due to the inevitability of lag time and blind spots that often take place between posting, commenting, refreshing previous web pages and such as I honestly avoided sending comments to people who had already voted for another artist.
These actions on my part made you feel sad, as did your actions towards me made me feel sad also. So, for my part, please now accept my willingness to let the past remain there while we become WQ friends. After all, “forgiveness is giving up all hope of a better past.” Please let's forgive and move on to promoting Wes, his hard working staff, the wonderful networking venue they're providing in "WQ Magazine" and "WQmag online", and -- as importantly -- each other as members. God Bless, Jack Alexander/Artist
