When I walk along the beach, my feet in the water, my head down and my eyes following the waves, coming and going, splashing up; I see all kinds of stones in the water and on the sand, glistening in the sun.
Creations formed by the water and nature, the colors, the different shapes, the feel and the textures of these stones started to fascinate me. No machine could have shaped and polished them so perfectly.
Each piece I find is unique and I do not alter it; I may add some natural accents, such as shark teeth, sea glass, small shells, etc. to enhance the already interesting shape of the stones.
I name each piece the way I see it, however you may see something different. So feel free to rename your “jewel” when you own it, enjoy wearing it, it is definitely “one of its kind”. Who does not want to be unique in some ways? It is a conversation piece at parties and gatherings. You can dream about where the jewel came from, the thousands of years tumbling around the ocean and being worked on by the waves and the sand. Some stones are so smooth, they feel good to touch and they ground you. They transport you into a different world, where you can drift away into your own thoughts.

They are all handcrafted for you!
Check out my website at www.bijeau.biz and enjoy each one of them.

Please contact me via e-mail or phone if you are interested in owning one of these pieces.
Special parties can be arranged as well.

Hi Nelly,
I loved your blog post. It truly came from your heart. I feel art is created from inspiration. And we can sure see that you create each piece of your jewelry with inspiration and love. And as you said, each piece is very unique.

Dear Nelly ~
I LOVE my shell necklace I won at the YES! picnic!! It really is so beautiful. What I like most about it is I would have never picked something like that out for myself, and yet, it is simply lovely! I received several comments on it when I wore it the other day for the first time. The second thing I like most about it....is that YOU made it! I will think of you always. ;)
Thank you for the precious gift!

Happy day!
