Neal Communities is opening its newest model, the Sarantino, in the Silverwood neighborhood of the Lakewood Ranch Country Club. The new home, which includes a two-tone façade, complements the others in the neighborhood. Silverwood is a maintenance-free enclave on the Audubon-Certified King’s Dunes Course of the private Country Club.
Neal has been successful selling new home designs this year in spite of a decline in Florida real estate. The company has written more than 160 contracts year-to-date in all price points. The company anticipates continued success and will be offering 16 new home sites for sale in the Preserve in Silverwood in the fall.
“What people notice first is the open floor plan and the beautiful design details,” says Deborah Angelo O’Mara, MCSP, sr. new home sales representative. “Everyone is impressed from the time they step in the door. They give it rave reviews.”
“It shows a modern influence, that we often see in Metropolitan Home,” says Charlene Neal, vice president design. “We started with the neutral color palate of the interior which allowed us to use the furniture as the accents. We chose clean, sleek furniture that makes the space open and bright.”
The design team, under Neal’s direction, then chose a modern classic style with traditional elements. There are clean lines with a sophisticated, but not too formal fee. Its spacious and open kitchen makes it ideal for anyone who enjoys cooking for friends and family. There’s ample room for guests who inevitably gather in the kitchen prior to a meal.
“The furnishing’s colors and fabrics are especially appealing, comments O’Mara. “That’s particularly appealing to so many of our buyers. Charlene does a beautiful job of tying together all of the elements to make the model a place that prospective buyers can picture as their own home.”
Neal explained the process of choosing the interior design elements, “We worked closely with Deborah when we furnished and decorated this model. We asked her about the people who live in Silverwood, their lifestyles, their preferences and the kinds of décor that most appeals to them. She knows the buyers, so we started there.”
Together, they devised a profile of a buyer who is a recent empty nester couple. They’re professionals who are active in the community. They love to entertain and enjoy golf, exercise, the Country Club and travel. The lady of the house is an interior designer, who works at least part-time on a consultant basis. In fact, the guest bedroom is set up as if it’s also her office. There are architectural sketches on the desk and a suitcase in the closet ready for her next business trip.
The Sarantino, named after an Italian town that is a favorite holiday resort, is 2665 square feet and priced from the $400s. It is the popular split plan with the master bedroom on one side and two bedrooms and bath on the other. The private den is located in back, with its own lanai entrance.
This new model, which opened August 15, is one of a series of four new designs that Neal Communities has introduced this summer in The Lakewood Ranch Country Club. Each design blends seamlessly with other homes in the neighborhoods and all are priced in line with current economic conditions.
“Each of these homes will meet the highest standards for architectural design, landscaping and exterior features,” explains Neal Communities’ Pat Neal. “Buyers will have opportunities to choose from hundreds of interior design elements, finishes and appliances to fit their lifestyles and tastes.”
Model homes are open daily, from 10 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Saturday and noon until 5 pm on Sundays.
