Another question that pops up regularly is, "what do I Tweet or Twitter". MOST people who use social media networks for biz are not really interested in what you are eating for breakfast or what shoes to wear. They ARE interested in
1. What you are reading
2. What you are saying
3. What cool gizmo you've uncovered to make THEIR lives better, longer, faster, stronger etc.
What you are reading - besides being a part of WQ and reading everything here, do you have a favorite news website? An industry specific website you follow? Online magazine, blog, video you find helpful in your business? Tweet about THAT. Make sure you post a link so folks can easily find it.
What you are saying
How about that presentation you just made to your local networking group? The article you wrote in your trade journal? How about that blog you just started? Tweet it!
What cool gizmo have you found in your travels
Maybe it is a GPS that hooks into the local MLS that real estate folks would be
panting over. A great deal on an iPod if you are a Polish-American who lives in a small town in Hawaii and offer expires August 31st. You get the idea.
Twitter itself tracks trends you can Tweet about. And if you are really stuck you can always go to:
