Howling For Halloween

Okay I admit it, I love getting dressed up for Halloween - It's the one night throughout the year when you can let a little piece of your innermost hidden personality shine through. And it's even more fun if we get our dog dressed up, too.

Is your dog a little devil? Get him some horns and a tail. Is your canine known for his courage? Get your super Spot a superhero costume. Is your dog overly affectionate? Try dressing him up like Bill Clinton. Is Fee Fee a little slut puppy? How about a Catholic school girl outfit. Is your Chow kind of secretive - get him a Dick Cheney mask.

According to the National Retail Federation's Halloween Consumer Intentions and Actions Survey, 7.4 million households will be celebrating Halloween this year with their favorite four-legged friends. The Federation lists the following costumes as the top five choices for 2008: Devil, Pumpkin, Witch, Princess and an Angel.
