ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT: Some of the top men’s professional tennis players are scheduled to play on the newly remodeled, $4.5 million tennis gardens courts at The Longboat Key Club May 8th-15th. Besides the incredible competition, there will be something for everyone at the tournament this year: Kid’s Day (for area children and their families on Mother’s Day), Club Day (where local tennis clubs, country clubs, fitness clubs and sports clubs will compete to take home this year’s Sarasota Open Club Trophy for the most members in attendance), Professional Day (local businesses Host ‘off-site’ board meetings in their spectator boxes and say thanks to their employees and customers with a fun day off) and Rolls Royce Day (where one lucky spectator will win a Rolls Royce for the weekend!) A vendor marketplace will be bustling at the tournament’s entrance throughout the week, featuring local sponsors.

The 2010 Sarasota Open is proud to benefit Children’s Charities through organizations such as The Florida Wine Fest, The Boys and Girls Club, West Coast Black Theater Troupe & Taking Back Lives.
