How To Create An Engaging Eye With An Eastern Influence

We’re blessed to have a very multicultural staff here at Xtreme Lashes headquarters, so when we had the opportunity to explore different ideas for Xtreme TV there were no shortages of dramatic and diverse ideas.  International Franchise Account Manager Shweta Bijlani and Co-Founder and Artistic Director Noor Daoudi paired up to create their version (Xtreme-Style) of a Traditional Indian Bride Eye Makeover.

 

Here’s a brief takeaway on how to create this look for yourself:

• Cover the lower eye area (beneath the application area) with Xtreme Lashes Hydrating Under Eye Gel Pads to protect from eye shadow dust during the application.
• Line the base of the upper lashes with Xtreme Black GlideLiner all the way to the outer edge, near the brow bone.
• Layer with eye shadow colors of your choice (shades of green were used in this application to create a rich, royal appearance but purples and blues would look amazing, too).
• Layer with Golden Oasis Eye Shine on the inner corners and into the middle of the lid.
• Add Arabian Nights Eye Shine along the outer edges and soften by lightly blending a dark shadow of your choice over and around the edges.

Additional ideas to adopt:

• Add a sparkling touch between the eyes with Swarovski Body Art Crystals for an authentic-looking ethnic addition.
