Kick off Relay for Life with Inspirations Salon's Style-a-Thon

Make your next salon service count as a donation to the American Cancer Society. This year’s Relay for Life kicks off with a Style-a-Thon at Inspirations Salon on Sunday, March 27^th and Monday, March 28^th. Payments for any hair service during the Style-a-Thon will be donated to the American Cancer Society’s signature fundraising event, Relay for Life on April 9^th and 10^th. You can receive a hair cut, color or even the frizz-relieving Keratin treatments just in time for hot weather and know that 100% of the money paid is being donated to a good cause. The funds raised go towards programs to prevent, detect and treat cancer and to support cancer patients.

 

Inspirations Salon owner Erin Dawson has been supporting the American Cancer Society for ten years. Having multiple clients afflicted with cancer led her to become involved. In addition to being part of a Relay for Life team, Erin volunteers each month for the Look Good Feel Better program. As a facilitator, she helps women with their wigs, skin care and make-up. Clients are able to come to her salon free of charge while undergoing treatment where she helps them look their best even when they may not always be feeling their best. For Erin, her volunteer work and her fundraising efforts with Relay for Life mean the possibility of helping the people of today and curing the children of tomorrow.

 

You too can help by paying for a service you know you’re going to have anyway. Everybody goes to the hair salon!
