Any company would love to have several brand ambassadors: People who know and love your brand that will represent you and your company well. There are three types:
  • INFORMAL
Unpaid people who are so passionate about your business that they know it well and tell everyone about it
  • FORMAL
    Paid employees or contractors
  • YOU
if you are the owner of a business
Wait a minute! If you already have employees they can be brand ambassadors too! Especially if you have staff that has idle paid time on their hands (perhaps they routinely have "free" time or have time in waves like when there aren't many customers)
  1. First of all you need to hire positive people to work for you.
  2. Pay them well
  3. Earn their trust and respect
  4. Treat them well
  5. Educate them in detail about your products or services
  6. Encourage them to help you succeed
  7. Reward them when they do well (this may have to be balanced with #2 above).
What can a Paid Brand Ambassador do for you?
Time to brainstorm,
  • the obvious is to represent you at a an event (party, trade show, conference etc.)
  • blogging is another way to keep them busy
  • Managing your social network
  • Many, many more ideas...
Have a fantastic week!
