Marketing Tip: Start 2010 with a positive attitude

When you get paid take a moment to appreciate the income. Being thankful for something will lead more income.
Start the day off with your first priority (even if it is something you would rather avoid, if you get it done first the rest of the day will be easier because what you dread won't be hanging over your head.
Smile while you are answering the phone.
Imagine new prospects contacting you or walking into your business.
Imagine your bank account being more and more full.
Imagine your mailbox has another check in it for you.
Imagine having extra money to invest or save.
Try to feel as if it is already true.
Take a deep breath and remember how you feel when you are doing what you love.
What about if you make a mistake or something "bad" happens?
Take a moment and think about it.
If you made a mistake what lessons did you learn?
If a client cancelled an appointment how can you make great use of the extra time in your schedule?
If you are making sacrifices for a friend or family member remind yourself of why you are doing it. If it is out of love then do it out of love and don't resent it. If it is from a feeling of obligation then find a way to change your habits. You are the only person who can do it.
You will attract more clients and friends by staying positive. By being positive you are guaranteed to have more success and happiness in your life.
