To Burn 100 Calories


With the busy schedules that most women keep, it's not always easy to fit regular exercise in on a daily basis. But not to worry, even if you must forgo your regular trip to the gym you can still burn some extra calories in a relatively short span of time(and have fun doing it!). Here are some quick and easy ways to burn 100 calories.

* Jump rope for 8 minutes

* Dance to your favorite tunes for 20 minutes

* Yoga or Pilates for 20 minutes will do the trick

* Pop a short work-out video in the DVD player

* Walk briskly for 15 minutes

* Play table tennis with the kids for 25 minutes

* Toss a Frisbee with your spouse for 30 minutes

* Pedal your bike at a moderate pace for 15 minutes

Bonus
* Have sex for 20 minutes

You get the idea. The point is that even just a little bit of physical activity each day will make a very big difference in the "bottom' line!

Wow- some of that is hard to believe- calories burned faster when walking than dancing? Yoga and Pilates equal to dancing in calorie burning power?
Hey Bonnie,
I am sure it depends on what kind of dancing...I am sure waltz is much lower than doing the Swing,Jive, Running Man or "Hammertime".
