Do you think that soy protein (e.g. tofu) is better for weight loss than animal based protein?

Soy products (including tofu) have been found to produce an enzyme in humans that stimulate estrogen production in the body. Estrogen is present in men, but it is the hormone responsible for the secondary sexual characteristics in women such as hips, breasts, and the higher percentage of body fat. Excess estrogen in the body will not only produce more body fat but will also cause bloating and water retention. It also lacks the Thermic Effect* of animal-based protein.
