The Dress

You may recall I mentioned a dress in a prior post that my mother bought for me years ago that I could never fit into. Here is a picture of me with my 2 sister-in-laws at the anniversary celebration and the dress was too big for me.

I may have only got to where it only once but it felt good to be able to wear it. It was like my mother was there with me and that she was sharing in the joy of the anniversary celebration. It may sound silly to some but it was as if she knew I finally was able to find a way to lose the weight and get healthy. That she saw how much happier I am and able to get around. In addition that I am apart of a family that loves me as their own.

On a very personal note I praise God for The Tschiegg family. They have loved me and taken me in as their own daughter not just a daughter-in-law. I feel their love everyday and know I have a strong family support system. My sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws are like brothers and sisters to me and I know they would be there anytime I would need them. How do I know? Because they accepted me when I was the old me and have been by my side through my journey and are still there now.

I love the program I am on to lose weight and feel healthier than I have ever felt in my life. Having a strong support system and knowing they love and accept me no matter what is so important when one is going through this type of journey.
