What You Don't Know About Eyelash Extensions

The life cycle of a natural eyelash is 60-90 days. Once is has matured, it will shed only to be replaced with another lash in its place. After the application of eyelash extensions, the first 24 hours are important for a strong bond. Do not get the lashes wet, and avoid oil based products around the eye area. Also, avoid hot steam or sauna for 48 hours. Be gentle with the extensions, such as, no pulling or rubbing. Mascara is not necessary, but if you must, use only water base and apply on the tips only. Do not use a mechanical eyelash curler. No daily maintenance is needed.
