20 Minutes to Fitness Promotes Long Time
Team Member Angela Begin to General Manager
(Lakewood Ranch, FL) 20 Minutes to Fitness, a semi-private strength training studio that offers a scientifically-proven, medically-based, slow-cadence training method, having experienced steady growth since opening in Lakewood Ranch in 2005, has promoted one of its original team members, Angela begin, to the position of General Manager.
“Angela has been with us since the opening of our studio and has worked in all areas of our business. She is an accomplished Personal Fitness Coach, was instrumental in the development of the company’s client data base management system, and assists in the financial aspects of our business,” explains co-owner and President, Virginia Phillips. “It’s so rewarding to have such a talented and accomplished person such as Angela as a part of our team – not just in the operation of our studio but also in the promotion of our franchise initiative. In addition to Angela taking on the increased leadership responsibilities, she has also been awarded an ownership interest in our company. ”
Because of the positive response that the Sarasota and Lakewood Ranch communities have had to 20 Minutes to Fitness, the company expanded their Lake Osprey Plaza studio facility two years ago and is now planning a new location near downtown Sarasota. In addition to the local expansion, 20 Minutes to Fitness is offering franchises nationally. “The health aspects of our protocol, the time efficiency of the workout, the growth of the fitness market, and the proven success of franchising make this an excellent time for the right franchisees to get involved,” states Al Roach, co-owner of 20 Minutes to Fitness and President of the franchise operation.
• 20 Minutes to Fitness uses a scientifically-based fitness approach known as "slow-cadence" (or slow motion) training, which due to the nature of the protocol, takes only one 20 minute workout a week. Working on specialized physical therapy equipment, participants lift weights in a series of ultra slow movements, causing the muscles to work harder and producing far better, faster results (50 to 59% better) than traditional strength training. This medically-based system is proven to actually slow down and prevent the physical and health-related issues commonly associated with the aging process. Each client works with a certified Personal Fitness Coach who stays at their side, calibrating the equipment for them and leading them safely through each exercise. 20 Minutes to Fitness: Changing The Way You Look At Exercise…Forever.
