Recently I've noticed articles about electric cars and people's expectations.
- In the past people expected electric cars to cost more, now they expect them to compete with similar gas powered vehicles.
- In recent history people expected electric cars to do what gasoline cars do (go 300 - 400 miles on a tank of gas), Now they are smart enough to realize that most of their trips are short and a car that goes 40 or 100 miles without recharging is OK too.
If you are marketing to any group of people you need to figure out what they want and or need.
The trouble is that people are changing fast. Keep up to date by paying attention to what your target market pays attention to. Read their blogs, their news. Read business news to find trends, create surveys to learn more about your existing clients. Listen carefully. It pays to pay attention.
Have a great week!
