For a fresh start in the morning, this raw breakfast gives you plenty of vitamins, protein and fiber. It lends itself to variations. Try different fruits and adding spices like cinnamon or fresh mint to the sauce. If you have a Magic Bullet, it's perfect for making the sauce. This recipe serves one. Multiply it for the number of servings you need.


Ingredients:

Banana, sliced

Apple, sliced

1 Tbsp. raisins


For the sauce:

1/4 cup sunflower seeds

1/3 cup water

3 dates

1/8 tsp. fresh grated nutmeg

1 tsp. agave nectar (optional)


Place banana and apple in a bowl. In a food processor or Magic Bullet, blend the sauce ingredients, adding water, if needed, until it reachs the consistency of a sauce. Pour over fruit. Sprinkle raisins on top. Breakfast is ready!
