Five months ago, I wrote a glorious review of the results of my first Keratin treatment – a treatment that miraculously seemed to eliminate the frizzies, producing a mass of silky smooth hair instead. Written six weeks after the treatment, I couldn’t be sure at the time that the treatment would last the five months Erin Dawson at Inspirations Salon predicted it would. Other salons had reported a duration of three to four months, but Erin was right on target. I’m not sure what Erin does to get the extra mileage, but with the results I get whenever Erin touches my hair, sometimes I think she just may have magic fingers. Really, I just can’t tell you how many people comment on the remarkable improvement in my hair color, texture, and cut since I switched to Inspirations Salon.

With the Keratin treatment, the condition of my hair drastically improved throughout the time period. While others complained of frizzy hair, I basked in the joy of having frizz-free hair throughout the hot and humid summer. Styling my hair became a breeze, much unlike the pre-Keratin treatment days. My hair-damaging straightening iron stayed in the drawer, replaced by a blow dryer and a round brush (styling tools I’d never been able to use adequately in the past). Plus, my hair air-dried much quicker, saving valuable time getting ready.

It was actually five and a half months after the Keratin treatment when it suddenly seemed that my hair started to react to the humidity again. Mind you, it was nothing like the old days, but I wasn’t taking any chances of returning to my hair of old. At the first hint, I immediately called Inspirations Salon to schedule another Keratin treatment. I got the feeling Erin thought I could have prolonged the time before I got the second treatment. But I wanted to nip the frizzies in the bud now. A girl gets used to living without bad hair days, you know. This time, Erin applied a different kind of treatment, a Keratin Blowout, still by Coppola and still formaldehyde-free. The difference is in the price (considerably less), a shorter duration (two or more months), less fumes during the application, and I could wash my hair on the second day. Once again, my hair immediately transformed. The results were the same. Now I rest assured that with a visit to Inspirations Salon every few months, good hair days are here to stay. Hoorah!

Shauna,
Inspirations Salon is located at 1776 Main Street right next to Divino's Restaurant. The phone number is 906-8686. This salon only uses formaldehyde-free products, unlike some other salons. I think you'll love it! Miss seeing you!

Hi Amy, It has been way too long since seeing you. I have been thinking of using this product. I use the straight iron but think it's no good for the hair long term. Where is this salon?
