What's for Dinner?

Posted on September 1, 2009 at 8:35am 0 Comments

Planning weekly meals can be tough with work, school, kids, workouts etc. So how do you do it? For starters, you’ve heard about the 3 P’s, prior, proper, planning? It all starts with planning your week in advance. What do you have going on this week? Meetings? Boot Camp? Kids’ swim lessons? There is not enough hours in the day to get it all done. In order to create and maintain a healthy lifestyle, you need to plan a head. This should start on the weekend. Sunday is your planning day for the… Continue

Raising Fit Kids

Parents, how healthy are your children? Today’s children may be the first generation to die before their parents due to increased inactivity and poor nutrition (1).

Healthy eating habits and an active lifestyle should begin at birth. Studies show that if overweight begins before eight years of age, obesity is highly likely as an adult and to be more severe (2) . Does your child go to school where he or she spends all day sitting in class and then comes home and spends four to six… Continue

Don’t you hate walking into the gym and realizing you have no idea what you’re going to do? “Cardio first?” “No, maybe I’ll pump some iron first.” This type of indecisive behavior can limit your performance and success. You should know exactly what you are going to do and when.

Here is the plan, design two training plans (workout A and B) that include your cardio and resistance training. Make sure you have all the details covered including, type of cardio, time, specific exercises,… Continue

Fit Tip

We live in a world of instant gratification. However, when it comes to losing weight and getting your body into better shape, it takes time. Pills and injections are for an illness or injury... not weight loss. So, let’s set the record straight by saying, losing 10 to 15 pounds per week is not going to happen. If it did you will be losing crucial lean muscle tissue and water.

Fitness takes patience and perseverance. Most people give up on their goal because they lack one of these or… Continue

Have you thought about training for a Half-Marathon but was unsure how to go about training? Well, now you have the opportunity to join a Women's Running Group that will train for the Women's Half-Marathon on November 22 in St. Petersburg. The event benefits the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Hi Nick, I have uploaded our new promotion for advertising on the website and in the magazine. It is an incredible promotion for small businesses. I love your blogs. In addition to the new promotion on the site. I would like to talk to you about our new video series we are starting called, "Ask the Expert". It is inexpensive and I think it would be good for your biz and mine to promote you on it.

Our website Daily Scoop email blast is now up to 11,000 people and our print publication is reaching approximately 30,000 people a quarter. If you are still interested, please feel free to call me at 863-670-1044 to go over the details. Thank you. Wes Craven

important reality check list! Another thing is every one pound of weight you lose takes 6 pounds of pressure off of your knee joints! That would be like 120 lbs of pressure off of your knees!!!!

Hi Nick, I got the email you sent Kim. I have been working on some combo packages diligently to give our members something that will really work at a price that is affordable. It is really hard! I was supposed to have it done on Monday. It didn't happen. I am hoping to have it done tomorrow. I will be in touch. Thank you so much for your interest. Wes

Hi Nick, Thanks for your interest in our Partners Program. In the last couple of days we have been adding some more benefits to the program. Advertising has gotten so expensive and the small business person cannot afford to advertise in something that is actually good. You are already doing some of the stuff that we recommend to do on our site to get more exposure, the difference is with our Partners Program we are going to promote you in additional ways that you cannot get from posting alone.

I am finishing up with some details this weekend, if you could email me your phone number at wes@proadmedia.com I will call you on Monday.

Thanks, Wes

Hey Nick, I"m over in UPCC - I saw your website. Can I ask you how you draw traffic to it? I would like to show you how I can increase your exposure through and online interactive directory. I have some really great ideas for you! I used to do boot camp a long time back -5:30am 3x's a week... it was grueling but well worth the effort.

Hello Nick,

My question is the same as Kim's below, is there a fee for this? If so how much?

Cheers, Ashley
