Being seen is more that going to the hottest club in town or being in the photos on the pages of regional glossy magazine.
• Visit your existing clients without a motive to sell them anything (It is easier to keep clients you already have than to get new ones so take good care of them, drop off a gift once in a while).
• Do presentations to audiences likely to include members of your target market
• Volunteer
• Create an event, invite your clients and ask your clients to…

In case you haven't figured this out... Networking isn't:
barging in on a conversation and pushing your product, or interrupting someone to tell them about your exciting new business opportunity.
Networking is easy if you approach it with the right attitude.
There are some easy tips to feel confident and comfortable.
1) Take a deep breath before you go in and adjust your attitude. Say some affirmations like:
"I am confident and happy"

I prefer to eat at local independent restaurants. Today I had the pleasure of dining at Karr's Cafe at 3025 N. Tamiami Trail in Sarasota. Wow! Vegetarian, Vegan and "Where's the Beef" all in one restaurant. I highly recommend it. Remember local shopping and dining makes a huge different in our Local Economy.

Be Authentic. To me, being authentic means being yourself and believing in what you are saying and doing.
Are you selling a product that you don’t have faith in? Unless you are a good actor or actress people will see it and feel it. The first time I went to Big Sugar about 9 months ago and It was OK. I gave them a second chance a couple months ago and recently had dinner there and I was blown away. The food is fantastic, the presentation gorgeous and the service was excellent. I encourage you to try Big Sugar soon. In season they are open for lunch too, WQ Mag could meet there for the lunch networking, it would be great.

Be authentic, totally honest, only promise what you can deliver. If you keep this in mind you will succeed because your clients will believe you and believe in you because you deliver. If you say or do something that you don't really believe in, everyone can tell! Your heart has to be in it.
Love and Peace,

I couldn't help wincing as I read what I thought would be funny. The Dating Horror Stories were very funny but also very disturbing. Many of the stories had enough information to make a pretty safe call that the men in question were likely abusers or future abusers. I'm no expert but I know a few signs: pushy behavior (trying to keep you from doing what you want to do like ahem... Leave!), chasing you out the door, running you down with the car,…
