Marketing Tip of the Week: How NOT to toot your own horn

How NOT to toot your own horn:
First of all don't bash your competition.
Speak about your strengths instead. What are the benefits of hiring your company? What makes you different?

This past week Steve Jobs bashed Adobe's Flash software blaming flash apps for Apple for being:
1) too power hungry, I have no expertise in this area however Adobe defended its software vigorously.
2) the number one reason Macs crash WHAT?…

Marketing Tip of the Week: Connecting with GREEN customers

Earth Day just passed us by. Or did it?

We are all aware that companies have been out to prove how green they are. Now it's your turn (the consumer).

Marketing Tip: Branding Disasters

So if you want to transfer the Domain they get all correspondence and if they don't respond to it you are stuck and don't really have control over… Continue

Weekly Marketing Tip: Stay Focused find a Niche

For the past decade more and more people have been either employing themselves or starting small businesses with a small number of employees.

I keep meeting people that say they do everything or this that and the other thing almost all all unrelated. That is the opposite of a niche. So what do you do if you want to do it all? As an example we'll use someone who
  • Option 1: Create separate businesses for each niche (dog sitting, home watch, and taxi service…
